Frances Prikryl Mallow

Frances was born on September 5th, 1929. Her birth certificate reads 6 miles east of Seymour, Texas. Fran went to business school where she learned her clerical skills and was hired at GE in the early 50s, where she stayed for several years. She married and traveled with her husband for a few years before they finally settle in Dallas in the early 70s. She worked for BriggsWearer until she retired, but continued to work other accounting jobs. Fran loved to work and when she wasn't working she took up different hobbies such as playing the piano, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and gardening. She was also a arid collector of many things as some of us all know. She was fun-loving and thoughtful; sometimes nieces and nephews would receive a card with a cleverly wrapped twenty dollar bill. She loved family and always kept in close contact with her siblings and relatives. Fran is preceded in death by her husband, James Mallow; Parents: Anna and Joseph Prikryl; sisters: Rosa Wakefield and Valasta Prikryl, brothers: Edwin, Rudolph and Roger Prikryl. She is survived by one sister, Patsy Purcell and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
