Ernesto Luna

Ernest Luna was born April 20th in Royse City, TX. He was the son of Alejandro and Felipe Luna. He attended school in Royse City, TX, and as a young man, along with his brother Herminio Luna, worked laying track for the MKT railroad. He later went to work in Dallas Texas as a foreman in steel construction and helped build the First National Bank of Dallas in 1965. Ernest is survived by four children, Ernest Jr., Darlene, Susan, and Rosario, his first wife Lois, and his second wife Teresa Garcia. He really enjoyed visiting with his four brothers and their families before all four brothers preceded him in death. He also had a large number of nieces and nephews who dearly loved him and will miss him very much. Ernest enjoyed traveling from his home in El Paso Texas to the Dallas area to visit with his daughter and many relatives. Later in life he also enjoyed making and selling hot tamales and was very successful at his part-time business. Ernest will be greatly missed by friends and relatives alike.
