Doris Annette "Nettie" Rodriguez departed this life on the 16th day of September 2018. Nettie was born in McKinney, Texas January 18, 1953 and was an active member of Meadows Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. There are a few things Nettie loved above all else: God, her adoring husband Roland, and football. She enjoyed watching the Plano Wildcats Friday night, Texas Longhorns Saturday and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Her true love was her family. She leaves her immediate family as a devoted and loving wife, a caring stepmother and an extremely doting and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Nettie Rodriguez leaves behind her loving widower, Roland Rodriguez, Stepson Mark Rodriguez and wife April, four grandchildren: Megan Rodriguez and husband Samuel Harbison, Jonathan Rodriguez, Taylor Rodriguez and Hunter Brewer. Two great-grandchildren: Aiva Watts and Axle Harbison. Her brother, Michael Reed, along with many cousins also remain. She is preceded in death by her parents George William and Doris Nell Reed. She remained devoted and faithful to her Savior and family until her death. Funeral services will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home, 1910 Eastgate Drive Garland, TX 75041 Wednesday, September 19 at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 at 11:30 am on Thursday September 20, 2018. .
