Trent, Carl 81, Went to the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018. Carl was born April 7, 1937 to parents David and Oweta Trent, of Rockwall, Texas. Carl was a loving and dedicated member for over 50 years of First United Methodist Church Rowlett, in Rowlett, Texas. He was a proud member, Usher, and loved every part of his Church. He was never married. He once told a close friend, "I never got married, because it's like parking spaces at Walmart, all the good ones are taken, and the only ones left are the handicaps". If you knew him well enough, he had a great sense of humor! Carl leaves behind an incredible legacy of a great example of what a Christian is and of his stewardship. He is survived by many family members who loved him. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 13th at 10am at the First United Methodist Church Rowlett, 4405 Main St., Rowlett, Texas 75088.
