Barbara Ruth Ridgell, age 78, was born in Shreveport, LA and was reunited in her heavenly home with her husband Bill on Friday, October 31, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbie Ridgell. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Harry and her husband Gary, Cathy Spurlock and her husband Gary, her son Ewell Carter and his wife Bridget, seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Eastgate Funeral Home 1910 Eastgate Drive in Garland, Tx. from 6-8 p.m. Monday November 3, 2014. Her funeral service will be at the First Baptist Church Kleberg, Tx. 13248 Elmspring Road Dallas, Tx 75253 on Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate donations to Mom's favorite charity of St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
