John Robert “Bob” Sparkman was born November 13, 1940, in Dallas, TX, and passed away February 18, 2017, in Rockwall, TX, at age 76. Preceded in death by his parents, W. Ray Sparkman and Virginia Louise Green Sparkman and grandson Rocky Hill, Jr. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie Janshego and Dani Rene Smith; son Benjamin Ellis; grandchildren Brennan Moore, Jacy Moore, Julee McCarty, Angie Powers; great-grandchildren Elijah Moore, wyatt Moore, Mazie Chambers; sister Virginia Loving; and 15 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rockwall, TX. He enjoyed Facebook and made many friends, from both local and far away places.
