Left to mourn her absence but celebrate her journey to God’s Heaven are her daughters, Tracey McCoy of Eufala, OK and Laura Leinneweber of Fort Worth, TX, son-in-law Gene, grandsons Alexander and Zachary; and her brother, Bob McClanahan and family of Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred McCoy and her children Penny and Timothy McCoy.

Donna graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City in 1964. She married her soul mate Freddie Joe McCoy in 1962. She worked at Spartan Atlantic when she was young, before moving to Dallas in 1968. She babysat neighborhood kids while her children were young. She worked various jobs through the years ending her work life as a secretary with Guaranty Corporate Real Estate Services in 2008. She was diagnosed with COPD and Cardio Myopathy in 1997, but she didn’t let that slow her down and she never let is deter her from the path God laid out for her.

Donna was the heart and soul of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend. She was and will always be loved by many. In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of her family or donate to a charity of your choice in her name.
