Urban Edward “Ed” Graves Jr., born September 07, 1935 passed away January 5, 2017. He was surrounded by his family during his last moments on earth and is now surrounded by his friends and family who have gone before him.

Ed was the son of Agnes Crocker-Graves and Urban Edward Graves Sr., of Kerens Texas. His parents and sister Uarlene Graves are surely rejoicing in seeing him again.

Ed is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Virginia Graves, Son Danny Pool, Daughter Leanne Graves-Blaney, Grandchildren Kimberly Pool McFeeley, Sidney Blaney, Daniel Blaney and Great Grand Daughter Krystalyn McFeeley.

Ed never met a stranger. He grew up in a small town where people waved when driving by and said hello with a genuine smile. He lost his Father at a young age, therefore he had to become the man of the house at an early age. He took good care of his mother and sister and ultimately brought that characteristic into his marriage and into his parenting. Ed was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.
