Mark Alan Ivey, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Mark was born in Sentinel, Oklahoma on March 10, 1953 to Billy Jack and Mary Ruth Ivey. He was a carpenter and drywaller by trade but his passion was Texas music. He was the Monday afternoon host of Texas Renegade Radio on community radio station, KNON 89.3 FM. Mark is survived by former wife and friend, Karen and their daughter, Sarah and her husband, Tony; granddaughter, McKenzie and grandson, Colton; brothers, Tim, John and wife, Caroline, and sister Maria and her husband, Kevin; niece Melissa and nephews, Colin and wife Tiffany, and John; great niece, Violette and many dear friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Billy Jack, mother, Mary Ruth and nephew, Shane.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sons of Hermann Hall 3414 Elm St Dallas, Texas on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 7pm.
