Endres, Vaughn L.

Born on Feb. 7, 1949 in Oakland, CA; Died Dec. 9, 2016 at his home in Rowlett, TX of cardiac arrest.

Originally lived in Tulsa, OK. and moved to Dallas, TX in 1969 where he met his life-long best friend and soul mate, Laura Wood, whom he married on April 8, 1972 and with her raised two children, Rydon Daniel and Eris Daneel.

He served for 13 years as E-7 Staff SGT. over a Motor Pool Group in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a Welder/Machinist by trade and employed at A.C. Horn & Co. for the last 15 years.

His favorite pastimes were spending time with his family and puttering around with classic cars, of which he owned a 1932 Plymouth PC Model (nicknamed Betty) since he was 16 years old. He has been a member of both car clubs, N.S.R.A and L.S.S.R.A. for over 25 years. He enjoyed going to car shows all across the country and dragging his family along for the ride.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Marie Endres, brother, Loren, and son, Rydon Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 44 ½ years, Laura Wood Endres, daughter, Eris Daneel and son, Vaughn Pierce.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, between 1-4PM at the Endres Home, 8205Portsmouth Dr., Rowlett, TX 75088.

Required Attire: Blue Jeans and tennis shoes, maybe a baseball cap.
