Bertie Mae Beam, age 59, after a long battle with cancer she passed into arms of Jesus on a October 5, 2016. Bertie was born on July 19, 1957 to Alton Ray and Ozella Kempf. She worked for WhataBurger for over 15 years. She married the love of her life and her soul mate, Gerald Lynn Beam Sr in April 1978. She lived in Lancaster, TX.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter Heather Maumee and one son Gerald Lynn Beam Jr., 3 grandchildren Mariah, Chelsea and Gerald Lynn Beam 3rd (Trey). One sister Cynthia Brooks, 3 brothers Clyde Kempf, Harold Kempf, & Darrell Kempf. Mother & Father John and Ozella Lipscomb. And many many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, October 10 at 2pm at Meadowview Church of Christ, 4100 Galloway, Mesquite TX with the interment to follow immediately afterwards at Laurel Land Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9 at Eastgate Funeral Home, 1910 Eastgate Dr in Garland.
