Bill Breeding

Bill C. Breeding left this world to go home to the loving arms of Jesus on September 8, 2016. Bill was born in Moody, TX to Garnett M. Breeding, Sr. and Mildred Thompson, on November 22, 1940. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, rising to the rank of Quartermaster, 2nd class and Boatswains Mate, serving in both San Juan, Puerto Rico and Cape May, New Jersey. He met the love of his life, Carol, in High School, and they were married for 51 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carol; two children, Jason (Joy) Breeding, Jennifer (Charles) Mumford. He has three grandchildren, Gabriel Youngquist, Caleb Breeding, & Ariel Breeding. He is also survived by his sister, Pat Hummert of Irving, TX and brother Bob Breeding of El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Garnett M. Breeding.

Bill deeply loved the Lord and his family. He was a deacon in Lake Highlands Baptist Church and Park Cities Baptist Church for many years.

Bill and Carol spent many years on vacation in Estes Park, CO, their favorite place on earth. They loved the mountains and watching the wildlife, and never tired of watching Elk when it was bugling season.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Eastgate Funeral Home, 1910 Eastgate Drive; Garland, TX 75041. He will be interred at DFW National Cemetery with full military honors at 1:15 p.m., 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy; Dallas, TX 75211. There will be a viewing for one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would request memorial donations be made to St Jude or Wounded Warriors.
