Marion "Ray" Ware, age 75 of Garland, TX passed away September 4, 2016 in Dallas, TX. He was born Christmas day of 1940 to Marion and Vivian (Shute) Ware. Ray was an avid member of Friendship Baptist Church of Mesquite and enjoyed singing in the choir. He loved his church family immensely. Ray spent many a years working for the Dallas Morning News prior to his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed creating flower arrangements and also attending as many of the Dallas Summer Musicals as possible, but most of all, Ray loved and held dearly time spent with his close-knit family.Ray is survived by a brother, Joe Ware and sister-in-law Effie; Niece, Stephanie Brand (Robert); Great Nieces Ashley, Megan, and Rachel; Nephew, Joey Ware (Mika); Great Niece, Kaela, and Great Nephew, Lawson.
