Baylee Kristene Winterbauer affectionately known as "Pookie" to close friends and family passed away on December 14, 2013. Baylee was a warm and caring soul who dearly loved the loves of her life, son Jerry Lee Sands and boyfriend of 5 years, Ryan Taylor. Baylee's beautiful singing voice could be heard anytime day or night from the front porch to the shower. Her love of the outdoors was clouded by her numerous illnesses, but camping and 4 wheeling with Jerry and Ryan seemed to really set her soul free. After much thought and numerous times of changing her mind, Baylee finally settled on a career as a nurse following in the footsteps of her mother Savana Winterbauer. She was a student at El Centro and was really getting into this "study thing" that eluded her in her earlier years. She was also an avid reader who once started could not put down whatever she was reading until she was finished. Baylee will be truly missed by all and we know that she is forever looking down on her two beloved men, Jerry and Ryan as well as the rest of her friends and family. And as we all became aware of, she would not hesitate to disagree with you and let you know that she was always right and if you didn't believe it.just ask her.
