Robert Joseph Emerson, (known to some as Bobby) age 63 passed away Friday July 6, 2018. He was born May 2, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. Robert was preceded in death by his Father Robert Junior Emerson and Mother Thelma Christine Emerson. He is survived by his two daughters Jaime Emerson Mansfield and Katy Emerson, twin brother Larry and wife Patsy Emerson, brother Michael Emerson, niece Shanna Scott, nephew Shawn and wife Kimberly Emerson and several cousins. Robert was a graduate form Woodrow Wilson High School and had just recently retired from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Those who knew him will forever miss his beautiful smile and uncanny ability to make everyone around him laugh with his contagious laughter and sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends chatting and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He truly tired to live life to the fullest with those he loved. He will forever be missed, but not forgotten. The memories we have will last forever in out hearts.
