Stanley Partridge was born on the 16th of March 1930 Died peacefully on 12 June 2018. He grew up in London with his parents, Dorothy and William and his elder brother Reginald.Stanley and Reginald shared a common interest in playing snooker and were very competitive. He remembered the bombs falling on London in WWII. Stanley completed his National Service in the Royal Air Force, after which he pursued a career in the insurance industry. He started as a junior and became a successful insurance broker with the Sedgwick Group PLC at the Lloyds market in London and worked his way to become a Director. He was a devoted husband to Barbara for 59 years and they made their first home in north London. Their only son Kevin Anthony sadly passed away in 1967 at the age of four. Stanley was a keen cricket player at the Alexandra Park Club, being a successful opening bowler and a stubborn batsman. Both he and Barbara loved playing golf, which became a large part of their life together, winning many trophies. Stanley had many business trips to the USA and was able to take Barbara with him quite often. They both got to love the American way of life and decided to emigrate and relocate to the Dallas office. They settled into the lifestyle very quickly, enjoying the sunshine, barbecuing and tending to their yard. They loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises together. Stanley was a good and gentle man. He will be sadly missed by his friends and especially by his wife, Barbara and family in England, his nephew Frank, wife Janet and their son William. Memorial Service for Stanley will be held at Christian Care Center Chapel, Mesquite TX, on June 24,2018 at 3:00 PM
