Dr. Lee Doyle, 83, of Plano, Texas, passed away at 2:50 A.M. Saturday June 9, 2018 in the care of Allstar Hospice at Avalon Memory Care in Carrollton. Born Emma Lee Cunningham February 9, 1935 in Noble, Texas, the daughter of Dee and Naomi Cunningham. Emma Lee graduated from Paris High school and went on to graduate from East Texas State University now Texas A&M Commerce majoring in Home Economics. Emma Lee (Lee) received her PHD at Florida State University in Psychology in 1968; Lee became the first female co-therapist with Masters and Johnson in St. Louis. Lee opened a private practice in Dallas in June 1969 as a Psychologist specializing in Marriage and Family with an emphasis on sexual dysfunctions. Lee loved her family, friends, neighbors and children! She loved LIFE! Survivors include her daughter Delanie Doyle of Jacksonville, FL, her fiancé Marcus Oehler, grandson, Britt Doyle of Celina, his wife Heather Oliver Doyle, his daughter Rylie Jade Doyle and son Jaxson Dean Doyle. Also surviving a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and former colleagues. Lee was preceded in death by her parents Dee and Naomi and her daughter DeAnna. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Eastgate Funeral Home, 1910 Eastgate Drive, Garland, Texas 75041 with Arvin Starrett will be officiating the service.
