Lawrence E. Patton, of Little Elm, TX passed away peacefullyon Thursdaymorning, May 24, 2018. Larry was born August 29, 1949, in Wilmington, DE to the parents of John and Adeline Patton as their only child, he was raised in Linwood, PA.

As a young man Larry’s love of live music began at his Mother’s restaurant where he enjoyed watching many artists perform. During high school he played the drums in the high school band, continuing the love for music he performed with local Dallas bands playing drums and steel guitar. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on charity runs and cheering on his favorite football team the Philadelphia Eagles. In true cowboy fashion he dressed the part with his cowboy hat and boots, long sleeve pearl snap shirt and pressed Wrangler jeans. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved bride Bachtuyet.

Larry was preceded in death by his Mother and Father. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Bachtuyet Patton, his step-children Annette (Brandon), Linda (Eric), Johnny, Julie (Anthony), eleven grandchildren, Heather (Tarcy), Hannah (Matthew), Uriah, Zane (Mallory), Megan, Austin, Alyssa, Travis, Annelise, Addison, Ava and six Great-Grandchildren.

Larry’s service to the United States Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam War provides him Military Funeral Honors. Services will be held at the DFW/VA National Cemetery on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 12:30pm. Graveside time to be announced after the service.
