Peggy Eileen Vestal was born March 7th, 1946 in Pasadena TX. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 20 after recently battling many health issues.

Peggy’s spirit will live on thru her husband of nearly 48 years, Douglas E. Vestal ofDallas, TX with whom she shared a loving home along with their cat companion Coco.

Peggy is also survived by daughter Melody Cherry and her husband Anthony Cherry of Dallas, anddaughter Amanda Vestal-Ondras and husband James Ondras of Dallas.Preceded in death by parents Sonny and Lois Harris of Houston, TX.

Peggy will be remembered for her soft quiet tone and sweet nature as well as her kind and giving spirit, and her love for art, music, and nature.

She also had a special place in her heart for animals and babies. In the final months of her life, she was knitting beanies for preemies.

Peggy was also a talented artist, creating paintings and mixed media works until her final weeks.

Peggy wanted to make the world a better place and fought to do so as long as she was able.
