Apolonio Lara Guevara "Paul" passed away February 18th, 2018, at the age of 74. A native of Dallas Paul graduated from Isabelle's University of beauty culture in 1962. Paul started his amazing career in 1963 at Valentino's in Dallas.

Paul decided to enlist in the Marine Corps in 1966 for a total of 6 years. Once he returned home he continued his career as a hair stylist. Paul began to enter hair styling competitions. After winning 13 trophies at the all Texas Beauty show in Dallas he was considered among the top hair stylist around.

Paul loved to play pool and he was pretty good at it. But he was even better at dancing. If music was playing, he was dancing, anywhere, anytime!

Hall also love to ride in style. He purchased a beautiful Corvette Stingray in 1973 and never parted with it. But for the past 10 years you couldn't get him off his Harley!

Paul is survived by his wife, Connie, daughter Lisa, son Christian (Rachael), and step son Steve.

His brother, Steve (Brenda), sisters, Dorothy and Juanita.

2 great- grandchildren

Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded by his parents Dora and Apolonio Guevara, and his sister Mary.

Services will be held at:

Eastgate Funeral Home,

1910 Eastgate Drive, Garland, Texas 75041

starting at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 25th.
