Billy Charles Dophied was born February 6, 1939 in Noel, Missouri and passed away on February 17, 2018 in Mesquite, Texas at the age of 79. He was raised in Denison, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Ethel Dophied, sister Juanita June Brown, brothers Bobby Gene Dophied and Hubert Lee Dophied. Survived by wife Shirley, son Tracy Dophied and wife Sydney of Mesquite, son Terry Dophied and wife Teresa of San Antonio. Two granddaughters Katie Dophied and Callahan Clinton and her husband Rian. Five great-grandchildren Peyton, Olive, Anson, Stetson and Maisey.He loved sports, fishing and hunting and most of all spending time with his granddaughters and great-grandkids. He will be greatly missed in our daily lives and we are blessed to have endless memories of love and laughter.There will be a private family service scheduled at a later date. The family asks that memorials be made to the Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church Capital Campaign.
