Petra Rios De ReynaPetra was born in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on May 6, 1922 to Rumaldo Rios and Maria Rodriguez de Rios and was the eldest of 5 children. Petra married Jose Luis Reyna Sr. on August 3rd, 1940 who preceded her in death. They had 8 children. Jose Angel Reyna, Esperanza Garcia, Armandina Samaniego, Jose Luis Reyna Jr., Juan Manuel Reyna who died at age 20 in Vietnam., Yolanda Spears, Maria Elena Lara and Ricardo Reyna. She was also blessed with seventeen grand children, 34 great grand children and 6 great great grand children. Petra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1965 and served Him, and His church faithfully in various ministries. Her spiritual gifts were teaching the word of God and being a prayer warrior. She delighted in praying for all of her children, her grand children and her great great grand children. She was an excellent seamstress, cook and enjoyed gardening.
