Mary Frances Overall Cariker

Born July 16, 1929 in Sheridan, Arkansas to John W. Overall, Sr. and Frances "Fae" McElroy Overall. Went to be face-to-face with the Lord on December 5, 2017.

Mary loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and spent many hours in Bible Study and prayer for her family and friends. She was always ready to share Christ with anyone who would listen.

Mary loved Texas, travel, Blue Bell ice cream, Tex-Mex food, Dr. Pepper, her family and her country. She served as national president of Pro-America, a women's organization devoted to promoting patriotic American values.

Mary was preceded in death by: her parents; brother John W. Overall, Jr.; and husband Wilbert Ennis "Bud" Cariker.

Mary's legacy continues through: her sons Allan (Nell) Cariker of Sachse, Texas and Gary (Lynn) Cariker of Ashburn, Virginia; granddaughters Lauren (Fernando) Negre, Rebecca (Daniel) Ramirez and Hannah Cariker; and eight great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.

Mary's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9 from 6-8PM at the Eastgate Funeral Home. Her funeral will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 10 at the Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland; the graveside service will be at the Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, Texas on Monday December 11 at 2:00PM.
