Patricia "Pat" Sims, 83, of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 18, 2014. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 24, 1930 to parents S. L. and Edna Earl Wilson. She always said, "I've never met a stranger." She had a loving, unconditional heart, and made sure everyone felt welcome. She graduated from Sunset High in 1948. She is survived by her three sons: Jeff Sims and wife Gwynn of Iraan, TX, Gary Sims of Mesquite, and Mark Sims and wife, Jenny of Rowlett; sister, Nancy Clark of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren, Derek Sims and wife, Leah of AZ, Stefanie Ross and husband, Jason of Flower Mound, Jennifer McClure and husband, Steven of Dallas, Chelsea Moffett and husband, Ryan of Dallas, Cameron Reynolds and husband, Mike of Mckinney, Rowdy Bolen and wife, Tameisha of Smyer, Chancy Allen and husband, Ty of NM; great-grandchildren, Emma and Olivea Sims, Kayleigh Ross, Caden, Will, and Ryan McClure, Bayleigh, Colton, and Reese Reynolds, Rowan and Sloane Moffett, Alissa, Reese, and Gatlin Bolen, Trace, Tavin, and Caybre Allen. Pat "Nanny" loved her family and her many wonderful friends. She had such a joyful spirit about life. She will be remembered most for her beautiful, contagious smile, fun spirit, and dedication to Jesus Christ.
