Obituary

Annies Perdita Samples entered into glory October 10, 2017 from Lavendale Residential Care, where she received loving care and attention during her last days with her family by her side.

She was born November 8, 1929 in Dallas, Texas. She was a loving and devoted daughter and an only child of the late John Wesley Murray and Agnes Katherine Payne Murray.

She attended Crozier Tech High School and the Art Institute where she grew in her passion for all things art.

She retired from National Motor Club where she loved what she excelled at-making life-long friends.

She made Jesus her Lord at a young age at East Grand Baptist Church. She served faithfully in several churches throughout her life.

She is survived by her only daughter, Nancy Ann Samples Baxley, son-in-law Ronnie A. Baxley, grandchildren Timothy and Matthew Baxley, Great grandchildren Emma Marie Hash Baxley and Sydney Renee Baxley.

Son, James Ray Samples, daughter in law Donna Marie Samples, grandchildren Joseph Michael and Jennifer Dawn Samples, great grandchild Piper Wednesday Samples

Son, Richard Allen Samples and daughter in law Martina Samples and grandson Clint Brannon.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Wesley Murray and Agnes Katherine Murray, husband Walter Alan Samples, father of her children, youngest son James Ray Samples and second husband Ramiro Davilla.

Mrs. Samples family will be accepting visitors on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eastgate Funeral Home,1910 Eastgate Drive, Garland, TX 75041. Her funeral service will be on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Eastgate Funeral Home. Interment will be immediately following at Grove Hill Cemetary, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.

The family would like to invite you to a celebration of Mrs. Samples life immediately following burial at her longtime Dallas residence.
