Beatrix(Alvarez) Blondell 73, of Garland, Texas passed away at her home Saturday September 23, 2017. Bea was born along with her twin sister Frances on July 2, 1944 to Andres and Lucille (Gomez) Alvarez in Wellington, Kansas.Bea spent many years in Wichita, Kansas working in child care which she truly enjoyed and was respected by all families that she worked for. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboysand "The Young and the Restless". She also loved her faithful dog, Pepper.On June 12,1993, she married Ralph Blondell in Wichita, Kansas.She was preceded in death by her:husband;parents;stepfather, Gomesindo Castillo;twin sister, Fran Fehrenbach;sisters, Mary Alvarez Toote and Ruth Alvarez Young;brother, Andrew Alvarez; andsister-in-law, Julie Castillo.Survivors include her: sister, Elisa (Alvarez) Ramirez and her husband Joe of Goddard, Kansas; brothers Ralph Alvarez of San Jose, California, Joe Alvarez of Wichita, Kansas, Tony Castillo and his wife Sheryl of Kansas City, Missouri, Al Castillo of Wichita, Kansas, Jesse Castillo and his wife Pam of Hutchinson, Kansas, John Castillo of Wellington, Kansas, Jim Castillo of Eureka, Kansas, Phil Castillo of Wellington, Kansas, Manuel Castillo of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Fehrenbach, and favorite nephew Robert Fehrenbach, Jr., both of Garland, Texas along with numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will take place at 1:00PM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas.
