Dollie Ruth Rothfus Kissinger was born January 14, 1923 in Sachse, Texas and died June 9, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. She was married on March 14, 1942 to Talmage Kissinger who died in 1980. Also preceding her in death were her parents John G. Rothfus and Annie Poynter Rothfus, sisters Ann Lou Gentle, Clara Hensley, Elizabeth Reeves and brother Billy Rothfus. Survivors are son Donald L. Kissinger, Billie Goforth Kissinger, daughter Nancy D'Elena, grandchildren Jessie D'Elena, and Kathryn Kissinger, and great-grandchild Riley D'Elena. Also surviving are brothers John George Rothfus, Jr., and David Rothfus, sisters Martha Boyd, Mary Barger, Virginia McKissick, Jerry L. Edwards and numerous other family members and friends.
