Jeffrey Ford Hock, loving known as Dad, Son, Brother, Grandpa and Uncle entered eternal life on Monday, April 10th 2017 at the age of fifty eight.

Jeff was born on August 2, 1958, in Garland, Texas to parents Phyllis and Joe Hock. He graduated from North Garland High School in 1977 and joined the family business Hock Painting soon after. Jeff’s humor and spirit are carried on by many. Those who loved and knew Jeff will miss his quirky jokes, his endearing willingness to always lend a hand or a paint brush for the projects we bite off and can’t finish alone. There’s not an Easter, Christmas or Birthday that will go by that we won’t miss the “toys” and fun that Jeff brought to the occasion, whether stilts, racing cars or flying objects- Jeff brought many laughs to every get together and taught us to not take life too seriously. He was most proud to be called Grandpa, by Jemma Fae. Jeff was a man of simple pleasures, enjoying the company of his family, his pets and his sci-fi radio shows and always looking for a way to help others. Jeff is survived by his son Joseph Hock and wife Melissa, mother Phyllis Hock, brother David Hock and wife Laurie, granddaughter Jemma Fae Hock, three nieces and 5 great nieces and nephews.
