Mary "Lu" Hampton, 79 years old, of Dallas, Texas passed away February 22, 2017.

Lu was born in Washington, Oklahoma on April 2, 1937. She was the daughter of Fronnie and Wesley Edington. She was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters.

She moved to Dallas in 1950 and two years later married the love of her life Lewis Hampton, who passed away in 2012.

They had one daughter, Sheila and son in law John, two grandsons Trevor and Evan and one granddaughter Kelly.

Faith and family were the most important thing to her. She will be remembered most loving her family unconditionally.

A family graveside service is scheduled for Thursday , March 2, 2017 at Restland.
