Lincoln Ray Davis

Lincoln Ray Davis, 52, of Dallas, Texas, passed away suddenly July 24th, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, step daughter Ciara, mother and step father Bonnie and Jim, brothers Darrel, Troy and Curtis, sister DeeAnn, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces and many other family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Robert Ewing Davis.

Lincoln was born November 11th, 1963 in Grand Prairie. He had a love of all sports and a fondness for golf not even a pro golfer could match. Open to anything sports related he was eager to take a trip this fall to watch a rugby game with his Irish family. Rangers, Cowboys and especially your Dallas Stars, he was either at the game or in front of a television. His devotion to his team of choice could only be waivered once a year when his TCU Horned Frogs played his Boomer Sooners. And you never saw a man so excited as the morning it was announced that Jamie Benn agreed to stay with his Stars.

His heart was as big as Texas. In his short years with us he has touched so many lives and is loved by all who were lucky enough to know him. The outpouring of love that his friends have shown this week is evidence of this and I know he is grateful for the overwhelming love and support you have all shown his family these past few days.

Lincoln worked for Dynamex for over ten years and was a respected contractor and employer, as proven by the bountiful friends he has made at the AT&T plant. He was a success in business as he was in life and had a knack for surrounding himself with the right people. He spoke so highly of everyone and was proud of his great team and his fellow workers.

Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and forever dear.
