She maintained that involvement when they moved to Texas and came to Saturn Road. Eventually Patty received a teaching certificate from Region 10, and taught several years at Wylie ISD and also worked as a substitute here in Garland. Following her teaching stint she worked at several retail places. Her love of animals then drew her back in and at her death she was employed as an assistant Manager at Pet Supermarket. Patty was loved and cherished by all she came in contact with. Her kind heart and faith gave her the ability to "Kill 'em with kindness.' Her Faith in God never wavering no matter what trial she endured. She will forever be remembered as a true woman of the Lord. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31: 29-31
