Victor Alan Pitts

Victor Alan Pitts, who was born on September 19,1958, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away in Dallas, Texas on April 15, 2026, due to complications with diabetes. Victor is survived by his children, Rayuel Richardson, Michael Alan Pitts, and Gabriel James Pitts; his brothers, Michael Scott Pitts, Terry Landon Pitts, and Todd Winston Pitts; while his parents, Mattie Marie and William Pitts Jr, preceded him in death.
 
He attended and graduated from Orange High School and soon after joined the U. S. Air Force. After 6 years of service, Victor worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 45+ years until the day of his death.
 
Victor was a devoted Christian, who attended First Baptist Church of Dallas every Sunday, and enjoyed giving testimony during the service.
 
With great earnest he ministered to the elderly and sick. Known for his big heart, Victor would always provide help whenever he could for those in need.
 
His favorite hobbies were fishing and collecting vintage Volkswagens. For as long as he could, Victor was a dedicated weightlifter and was part of the 400 lbs. club.
 
Victor will be truly missed by his friends and family. He lays to rest with the assurance that he's in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Sending my sincere condolences to Victor's family. I hadn't seen Victor in over 50 years - since we were neighbors on Glendale Ave. in the 60's. We re-connected a couple years ago through Facebook and would call each other to check in now and then. He kindly sent me a Bible which I thought was very kind. You will all be in my prayers during this difficult time...
