Paul David Tilton, was born February 1st, 1941, in Greenville, Texas to Lloyd “Pete” Tilton and Inez Tilton. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 24th, 2024 at the age of 82. 

He was a United States Marine from 1961-1965, and went on to serve as a Dallas Police Officer from 1965-1993. After serving the city of Dallas, he was a Lovefield Police Officer until 2000 then went on to further serve as a Bailiff for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. Paul Tilton was a man of service for his country, state, city, and family. He served up until he passed with honesty, integrity, and grit. 

Paul is survived by his eldest daughter Stacy Tilton, youngest daughter Nancy Moore & Kelly Willis, granddaughter Lindsey Gaikoski & husband Logan, & Jason Moore, along with mother of his children and friend Lee Tilton. He also is survived by many friends and coworkers within the Dallas Police Community that he loved dearly.
