Michael Belinda Presswood
Michael Belinda Presswood left us with heavy hearts when she passed away on June
18, 2024 in Garland, TX.
Belinda was born in 1954 in Dallas, TX to Thomas Ray Peek (1930-2021) and Doris
Sutton Peek (1932-2008). Belinda often shared stories about her childhood when her
family would go to their farm in East Texas where she had many great times with her
cousins.
In 1976 Belinda married Kenneth Presswood. Together they welcomed three children
Joshua, Casey & Veronica. Belinda was a loving mother and constant supporter of her
children. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and cooking many wonderful meals.
She loved to bake, especially during the holidays. Belinda also enjoyed traveling
around the world and experiencing new countries.
While her children were in school Belinda earned her degree and became an RN. She
enjoyed helping people and caring for them. She especially enjoyed working in labor
and delivery caring for the new babies.
Belinda is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Doris Peek and her beloved cousin
Alton Peek. She is survived by her children, Joshua Presswood (Becky) of Rowlett;
Casey Presswood of Garland; and Veronica Presswood of Garland; her stepson Bryan
Presswood of Burleson; and her grandchildren Jocelyn Marie and Logan Alton
Presswood.
Belinda was an exemplary mother, she possessed unconditional love and unending
generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and friends. She will be deeply
missed.
Private services will be held.
