Mary Ruth Huber, age 80, of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on November 24, 1944, in Spangler, Pennsylvania. Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony A. Huber and Marion Leona (Dillon) Huber. Mary dedicated over 30 years of service to the University of Texas at Dallas, where she worked in Facilities Management.  A devoted and lifelong sports enthusiast, Mary followed nearly every major sport with great passion. Whether watching a game or diving into a spirited conversation, she was always ready to share her insights and enthusiasm.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Regis and Paul Huber; sister-in-law, Wanda Huber; and niece, Michelle Ann Dugan. Mary is survived by her loving partner of 50 years, Ann Cohn; her siblings, Joseph R. Huber (Janet), Rita Waite (Eddie), and Donna Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; and former brothers-in-law, Dennis Dugan and Louis Roberts.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held this summer, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share cherished stories. She will be laid to rest in Patton, Pennsylvania.
