Linda Kaye Malinowski was born on April 29, 1948 in Detroit, MI and passed away peacefully August 11, 2024 in Garland, TX. Linda and Gary got married in 1968 and moved to Texas in the mid 1970s and built their life there.

Linda was a realtor for 45 years. She received multiple awards and accolades while working as a realtor. She loved to bake, especially with her nieces. Loved to travel with her husband and family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family she loved dearly.  She took great pride in her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew. She loved any holiday, birthday and reason to celebrate. She made any event special and lit up every room she walked into with her smile and joy. She would make special treats around the holidays for friends and family and loved to deliver some to the fire departments. She loved the Lord and had a true servants heart and was such a blessing to those around her. She will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years 11 months, Gary Malinowski; her brothers and spouses, Mike and Tina Short, Larry and Ellen Sintay; sister in law, Carol and her husband Randy Voight; nephews and nieces, Brian and Cheri Sintay, Keith and Connie Sintay, Laurie Sintay Fox and Tom; Chris and Nicole Akin, Christina Short and Nick Burr; and great nieces and nephew, Isabelle, Timber, Tillie, and Teddy. Her mom, Betty Short and her dad, Reginald Short, preceded her in death.
