Carol Suzanne Church Bratton
Suzanne was born in Dallas, Texas to Leroy and Oneta Church. She was the youngest of three children. Suzanne passed away from CHF on August 12, 2024. She graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1970 where she was a choir member. She was a secretary in early adulthood and a stay-at-home mom and grandmother for the rest of her life. She loved cruising, playing bingo, and spending time with her five grandsons. Suzanne was a member of Mesquite Elks Lodge #2404 and served in many capacities including Exalted Ruler. She spent many hours donating her time and money to the community. She was also an eight-year survivor of breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leroy, her brother, Michael, and her parents. She is survived by her sister, Brenda "BK" Farley, her two daughters, April Caplette from Garland along with her children Finnegan and Meagan, and Adrian Branch from Royse city along with her children Harley, Harper, and Haddock ("her best friend"), her fifth grandson, Garon along with a host of family and friends. We would like to thank the staff of Medical City Dallas and Heart and Spine for their amazing care of our beloved mother. A family memorial will be held at a later date

Yabba will be truly missed. I never got to know her very well but I could tell that she loved her family dearly. She always had a smile for a mile. God bless the family in this tough time. My continued prayers are with you all. 🙏❤️

My condolences to the family. I knew Suzanne from Metro Church -- that was a special place. Heaven gained an another angel. May the family be blessed.
