Guy C. Lara was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He was one of a kind, and anyone who truly knew Guy knew there was much more to him than what you saw on the outside.

Guy may have had a tough exterior, but underneath it was one of the biggest hearts. If someone tried to bully or mistreat you, you could count on Guy to have something to say about it—and chances are, the problem wouldn’t happen twice. He was loyal, generous, and the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back.

Guy was also a gifted artist with the ability to take what he imagined and bring it to life. His creativity was uniquely his own, just like the man himself.

And Guy definitely believed in looking good. Whether the occasion called for it or not, Guy understood that sometimes you just had to show up looking “fly”.

His one-of-a-kind sense of humor brought plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments to those around him. He had a way of making people laugh, sometimes when they least expected it, and those memories will continue to bring smiles even through the sadness of losing him.

Guy’s life cannot simply be measured by the years he lived, but by the people he loved, protected, made laugh, and left with stories they will tell for years to come.
