Betty Jean "Jeannie" Klement

Betty Jean "Jeannie" Klement of Mesquite, Texas left this earth for her heavenly home January 5th, 2021. Jeannie was a beautiful, Christian woman that had a special, sweet impact on every one she met. Her smile and laugh were contagious and her love was boundless. Jeannie loved large families and was proud of the large family she had made with Frank. She was a proud wife, mother, grandma and GiGi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joe Klement , her infant twin daughters, grandsons, Ricky Dean Karl and Stephen Michael Utley and Granddaughters Theresa Klement and Tennie Lenice Marie Klement. Jeannie was survived by her 6 loving children Ricky (Marti) of Norwood Colorado, Cindi (Don) of El Paso Texas, Mike (Nancy) of LaVerne California, Tim (Cindi) of Sachse Texas, Colleen (Ricky) of Grand Prairie Texas and Lisa (Phillip) of Hot Springs Arkansas, her 9 grandchildren Trisha, Brooke, Christopher, Craig (Hannah), Sean (Ali), Adam (Jessica), Trent (Casey), Sarah (Jesse), and Joey (Crystal), 17 Great grandchildren, Emily, Charlie, Stella, Ellie, Isla, Leland, Sicily, Rainer, Damian, Sebastian, Ben, Evelyn, Evan, Sadie, Carli, Chanse, Jace along with countless nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mom was a fun, loving, faithful spirit. She loved playing games, doing her crossword puzzles, watching Keanu Reeves movies and listening to country music. She was her happiest spending time and playing with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved Mexican food and would never turn down a chimichanga, although I do think she loved Blue Bell ice cream most of all. Mom was the wind beneath our wings. She fully believed in God and the power of prayer. Even when faced with Covid-19, Mom still prayed and believed. She fought a long, hard, brave fight with Covid-19 for the better part of a month. Most of that time she spent worrying about her kids wellbeing. Covid-19 may have finally worn her heart out but it will never kill her love or our love for her. Now, though it is hard, we can rest in the knowledge that Mom is up above with loved ones in no more pain, smiling that sweet smile down on us forever. Mom will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends, and her ladies group from Eastridge Park Christian Church of Mesquite. Due to circumstances, we will be having a private ceremony. We will have a life celebration for Jeannie at a later date. Flowers may be sent to Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland, Texas.
