Linda Cozette Standridge Wokoeck August 17, 1948-December 23, 2020 Linda Cozette Standridge Wokoeck was granted her wings on December 23, 2020. In her final days she was surrounded by her daughters and family. Linda was born in Dallas, Texas to Beatrice and Hubert Standridge. While growing up, Linda had the opportunity to live in different places such as Germany and Japan. She was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in 1966. In 1967 she married the love of her life, Gerd (Jerry) Wokoeck. They had a great life together. Linda and Jerry moved to Vineland, NJ where they bought a house, owned a harmony shop, attended Woodstock and started a family. She became a licensed vocational nurse in 1981 from Cumberland County Vocational School and dedicated her life to doing what she loved, serving people. She worked with children at Scottish Rite Hospital, but she retired after 30+ years, doing what she loved best…serving the elderly in nursing homes across Dallas. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Hubert Standridge, grandparents Neva and Gus Shaffer and Brother Bruce Standridge. She is survived by her sister Jerry Ellen Urquhart and husband Robert of Tuttle, Ok., her daughter Stacie Shackelford and her husband John of Forney, Tx. , daughter Stefani Andrews and her husband Trey of Richardson, TX. Grand children Alex Routon and wife Sabrina of Dallas, Avery Polk and his girlfriend Destinee of Wylie, Joshua Routon and wife Courtney of Forney, Emma Routon and Garin Wokoeck. She also had 4 great grandchildren, Leila (8), Brynlee (4), Ryland (2) and Kingston (1). She had several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
