Aubra Brent Davis June 9, 1952 – November 17, 2020 Aubra "Brent" Davis, age 68, lost his battle with Cancer on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home in Garland, Texas surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Monday, June 9, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. Brent graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1971 and retired from AT&T in 1998. He was a member of the Texas Telephone Pioneers as well as a Demalay to help prepare young men for their entrance into the Shriners. After his retirement, Brent kept busy by working with locating companies, most recently LTRA. Brent had a passion for many hobbies including WWII German models, guns, Battleships and repairing his 1930 Model A Ford. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, and he was intrigued with Charlie Chan and other murder mysteries. He was a proud family man and loved them all unconditionally. Brent was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth V. and Mary Jo Davis, and his grandparents Harvey R. and Lillie May Garrison. He is survived by his wife, Fayanda Davis and daughters Misty Davis-Vaughan, Amanda Dilley, Desiree Dilley-Jordan, Mary Dilley, son Brent Dilley, his granddaughters Alexis Steward and Tabitha Steward (and one on the way) and ex-wife Cathye Davis. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Eastgate Funeral home in Garland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org in the name of Aubra Brent Davis.
