Tommy Joe Brewer of Garland, Texas passed away at home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the age of 58. He was born to parents Vida Wilburn and Barry Thornton Brewer in Fort Worth, Texas on September 5, 1961. Tommy's prized possessions were his family and friends whom he cared for and loved more than anything. He enjoyed family trips to Florida visiting both Destin and Pensacola Beach, golfing, classic rock music and playing the guitar, hosting pool parties and cookouts, curb hunting and antiquing, and his Dallas Cowboys. His grandson Ashton was his pride and joy during his last few years. He is preceded in death by his father, Barry Brewer, and his sister, Paula Holley. Tommy is survived by his mother Vida Campodonico, stepfather William "Bill" Campodonico, sister Cheryl Holley, wife Leslie Brewer, sons Scott Brewer and Brian Brewer, stepson Jordan Spurgeon, and his grandson Ashton Spurgeon. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4:00 pm on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Community BBQ and Grill located at 7010 TX-78 Sachse, Texas 75048.
