Jim C. De La Rosa
Jim C. De La Rosa, better known as Jimmy to those who knew him best, age 63, passed away on May 30, 2025 in Mesquite, TX.
Jimmy was born on May 8, 1962, in El Paso, TX, to Jose De La Rosa and Petra De La Rosa (Corpus).
He spent the majority of his life in Mesquite, TX as a devoted father, brother, and uncle.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Petra De La Rosa and his sister, Sandy.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Cedillos, of Mesquite; his son, David De La Rosa, of Forney; his cherished dogs, Oscar & Bella; and a loving extended family, including neighbors and friends.
Those who knew Jimmy will remember his peaceful presence, humor, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of a service, Jimmy’s life will be celebrated privately with his family.
