Treniece Lanell Ellis

Treniece Ellis was born in Detroit, Michigan. She made sure you knew that.  A wife to Marcus Jones. A daughter to Jerdine Roberts. A sister to Kendra Roberts. A mother to Devon Ellis, Toria Ellis, Cire Thompson, and Steven Jones. A grandmother to Nevaeh, Analiyah, Layla, Zach, Ro, and Jay. A great friend, a

She is a smart, funny, tough woman at her core, and would do anything to protect her kids. If you got to work with her or tried any of her food hands down, she is the best cook in the family. Treniece taught tough love, and it made us all who we are today. Quit? I never saw her give up on anything. Even her last moments with us. She asked, "Why are you crying?" I haven't cried once since being here. Don't cry. I'm going to fight this. That's just what she did!

She had an amazing relationship with God that shows in all of her kids. Praise and worship music played throughout the house growing up. Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, and Yolanda Adams. I know she's looking down at all of us proud and asking why you are crying?

Treniece leaves to cherish her memory:  Devoted Husband Marcus Jones.  Mother Jerdine Roberts.
Sister Kendra Roberts. Sons: Devon Ellis, Steven Jones Daughters: Toria Ellis, Cire Thompson. Grand Children: Naveah, Analiyah, Layla, Zach, Ro, and Jay. A great friend.
