Cynthia Gail Carter (née Woodard) of Mesquite, TX, passed away March 31st at the age of 68. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, a steadfast friend, and a treasured presence in our lives that will be greatly missed.

Cindy loved her family and friends dearly and cherished spending time with them. She found joy in listening to music, working on adult coloring books, and watching her favorite show, Walker, Texas Ranger. She had a special fondness for black-eyed peas and spent many years accruing an impressive collection of frog figurines, stuffed animals, and artwork with which she filled her home. We are grateful for these memories of her gentle, fun-loving spirit.

She is survived by her children, Brieanna (Larry) and Billy (Mandie), and her grandchildren, Joemy, Keelan, Emrys, Arilynn, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha, her father, James, her brother, Jim, and her daughter, Karina.
