Robert Michael Bailey, age 53, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with Pompe Disease. Born on April 13, 1971, Robert was a loving father, cherished son, and friend to many. Despite the challenges he faced due to his condition, Robert remained resilient and continued to live his life with humor and strength.
Throughout his life, Robert’s sense of humor and infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around him. He was known for his quick wit and his ability to find humor even in the toughest of times. His love for gaming and comedy was not just a hobby but a way for him to connect with others, and his impact on the lives of his family and friends will never be forgotten.
Robert is survived by his three beloved children: Robert, Brandon, and Meagan; his mother, Carolyn Thompson; his sister, Lisa Barber; and many family members and friends who were touched by his strength, courage, and laughter during his fight with Pompe Disease. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Bailey.
