Charles Damon Westmoreland, Jr.
Chuck Westmoreland of Dallas departed this life February 28, 2025, at home. He was born in South Dakota on July 18, 1958, to Wilma Lucille Darnell and Charles Damon Westmoreland Sr. He grew up in Magazine, AR. After he graduated he then moved to Dallas, Tx. He started his career in November 1982 at the Dallas Zoo. In October 2009 he retired from the Dallas Zoo to spend time with family and friends.
Chuck enjoyed simple pleasures: He was an avid fisherman. He often spent many days and nights catching fish together with his family and friends. He was a hardworking man who made many lifelong friendships with his coworkers from Dallas Zoo. He was a family man who will be missed dearly by his loved ones.
Left to cherish Chuck’s memory are, daughter; Alisha and her husband BJ Boren, Granddaughter; Shelby, and Grandson; Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Damon and Wilma Westmoreland and 2 Sisters Vicki and Gay.
