David Earl Walters was born on April 26, 1954, and passed away unexpectedly on February 23 rd , 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his children: son, Eric Walters and wife Jackie Walters, son, Jonathan Walters, daughter Rachel Walters, and daughter, Angela Walters; also by his sister, Yvonne Walters Spoonemore and spouse, Don Spoonemore. He leaves behind quite a few grandchildren as well as multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Walters, and father, Henry Walters.

David Earl Walters was born on April 26 th , 1954, to Henry and Bonnie Walters in Petaluma, CA. He lived in Alabama until 18 years old when he joined the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He served in the Airforce for 4 years. He eventually settled in Dallas, Texas where he lived for the rest of his days. He enjoyed music immensely and played multiple musical instruments including bass, guitar, banjo, steel guitar, piano, and mandolin.

Memorial service will be held on March 21 st 2025 at 2:00pm at Eastgate Funeral Home at 12973 LBJ Freeway Garland, TX 75041.
