Brenda Kaye Church Farley, affectionately known as Aunt BK or Gabby, was born in Dallas, Texas to Leroy and Oneta Church and was the oldest of three children. Brenda passed away on hospice from CHF on November 18, 2024. She graduated from Bryan Adams High School and worked at Betsy Ross Flag Girl, Sears, and Easter Supply until her retirement. She loved thrifting, adored everything flamingo, speeding around in her red Mustang, dog sitting, and spending time with her nieces and great-nephews . She earned her nickname “Crazy Aunt BK” early in life. She firmly believed in reincarnation and also believed she was an alien abductee. Her family’s favorite pastime with Gabby was listening to her stories of being a chambermaid to a princess in one of her past lives.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael, her sister, Suzanne, and her parents. She is survived by two nieces, April Caplette from Garland along with her children Finnegan and Meagan, and Adrian Branch from Royse City along with her children Harley, Harper, and Haddock, and her fifth great-nephew, Garon. She was also survived by and beloved by her best friend Carleen Sweat, and her two fur-babies, Frankie and Moondoggie.
We can’t wait to see you again. We wonder who you will be in your next life. Please come find us soon.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
