Charles Samuel Marmolejo, Jr.

Charlie was born June 4, 1979, in El Paso, TX and passed away peacefully on
September 30, 2024. He graduated from Harlingen High School in 1997 and attended
University of Texas El Paso. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha while attending
college.
Charlie worked as an Area Sales Manager for Blackberry (Research in Motion), Sprint,
LG and Trelevate.
You could always find Charlie Sunday afternoon rooting for the Dallas, Cowboys or
watching the PGA golf tournaments. Charlie was an avid golf enthusiast; he was either
watching it or talking about it. Over time he even became a Kansas State University
football fan for his wife.
Charlie was always the life of the party and never knew a stranger. He was welcoming
to everyone and could make you feel like you knew him forever. He was a loving
husband and father. His daughter Avery was the light of his life. He loved playing
miniature golf, going to arcades and just spending time with her. Charlie and Susie
enjoyed entertaining at their home as Charlie loved to BBQ and was an amazing cook.
His larger-than-life personality will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Charlie is survived by his wife Susie (Linin) and their daughter Avery Marmolejo; His
parents Charles and Velia Marmolejo Sr.; his sister Rosanne Marmolejo and nephew
Ryan Marmolejo.
Visitation will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church Plano, TX Monday October 7,
2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00pm with funeral service starting at 12:00pm with a
luncheon following.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 8, 2024, at 10:30am at Burleson
Memorial Cemetery in Burleson, TX.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church, Plano, TX.
